Creator’s Canvas

Misty colors caressing up high
Mixing and mating to create something new
Setting sun painting a cloudy sky
Presenting to us a spectacular view

An early bird star playing peek a boo
The sun peeking back with half of an eye
The moon displaying its particular hue
This dazzling dance of light in the sky

The promise of creation is born with the sun
A gift that daily comes true
This cycle of life is given by One
And kept for me and for you

These are some of the reasons that I do believe
That there is a greater being than us
But no greater proof that I can conceive
Are the children entrusted to us?
