About Us
At Luminaura Magazine, we believe in the power of light and essence of stories that shine and souls that resonate. Rooted in the meaning of our name, lumin, meaning “light,” and aura, the distinctive energy that surrounds and defines us, our platform is a beacon for writers seeking to bare their souls, embrace their creativity, and express their truths without limits.
We exist to illuminate voices, offering a space where passion, vulnerability, and artistry intertwine. Whether through poetry, fiction, or thought-provoking art, Luminaura is a home for those who dare to shine in their authenticity. Here, your words are not just heard—they radiate.
Luminaura Magazine is an annual online literary journal. Calls for Submissions open on the last Friday of every January and close on the last Friday of every March. You can view our submission guidelines and disclaimer at any time.
New volumes will be published online every October and can be accessed for free for a year. Previously published volumes will be available for digital download and print.
Submissions for Volume II are now closed. Our next call for submissions opens January 29, 2027 and will close March 26, 2027 by 11:59 p.m. There is no submission fee required.
Additional Note: We believe that all creatives should be paid for their contributions to their craft. Though we are unable to pay authors directly, selected contributors will receive a free e-book copy of their volume and can sell the journal on their platform(s) digitally.
